The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is challenging students to use their creativity and writing skills to submit a flash fiction story that addresses the risks associated with teen gambling. Two scholarships will be awarded for the best flash fiction story – $1,00 for 1st place and $500 for 2nd place. The scholarship recipients will be announced in May 2010. The Ontario Hockey Federation Bursary Program was established to provide financial assistance to registered participants including players, coaches, trainers, and officials to help offset the cost of post secondary education. All students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a Canadian post secondary institution are eligible to receive bursary funds.
