Canadian colleges and universities will be represented in their virtual convention hall, each with its own booth. Information on admissions, scholarships and financial aid will be available – virtually, from home or school, using a computer. Students will be able to talk directly with school representatives and have their questions answered , in real time. The fair is live on November 12, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (ET). Registration is free. Students, parents, teachers and administrators can register at www.macleans.ca/oncampusfair . Students will also have the opportunity to win $5,000 just for registering. If you miss the event on November 12, it will still be available on-demand, 24 hours a day, until mid-February 2010.

Fanshawe College Business Start DatesPosted by: vhssguid in Colleges, Fanshawe College, UncategorizedStudents can now start their Fanshawe business diploma in March or May – in addition to our traditional start dates in September or January. The Lawrence Kinlin School of Business has added two additional start dates, giving students more flexibility. A March start date will appeal to students who complete secondary school in January and who are eager to start their post-secondary education. May will appeal to students who want a head-start on their studies.

There will be employers and apprentices there from 20 of the most popular trades. The event runs from 5 – 7 pm. Check out the poster in the Guidance Office.
